The hairy monster Carley trapped appears to be a giant house spider, a relatively harmless spider that can grow up to a whopping six inches long
A mum may be regretting a move after unpacking boxes in her new home and finding a spider – bigger than a mouse with monster fangs.
Carley Tapsell was opening boxes in her new home when the huge spider jumped out of nowhere and terrified her – with its “BIG TEETH”.
The mum, who recently moved to Dymchurch, Kent, managed to trap the giant eight-legged freak in a plastic box.
She said: “It’s really big. I have never seen a spider so big. I was going through by cardboard boxes and it was just there.
“I’ve kept it in a lunchbox.
“It’s got quite big teeth.
“My three-year-old son is here and he thinks it is fascinating and amazing.”

CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (KPLC) –
A Louisiana State Trooper shot in the head Sunday afternoon near Bell City was airlifted to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Trooper Steven Vincent, 43, is a 13-year veteran of the state police force, Col. Mike Edmonson said.
A suspect in custody, authorities said.
Edmonson, head of state police, arrived in Calcasieu Parish Sunday evening, where he visited with Vincent’s family and son.
“It doesn’t look good right now so we’re asking for prayers,” Edmonson said.
The incident happened just before 2:45 p.m. near La. 14 and Fruge Road, said Sgt. James Anderson, Troop D spokesman. The suspect’s name has not yet been released.
Anderson said Vincent was responding to a report of a vehicle driving in an unsafe manner. The vehicle was found in a ditch.
The accused shooter was also taken to a hospital, Anderson said but did not give further details.
Vincent comes from a law enforcement family, Edmonson said. Vincent’s brother, Keith Vincent, is the Chief of Police in Iowa and another brother is also a state trooper.
Vincent received a meritorious service award for a 2012 traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of a Slidell bank robbery suspect.
Edmonson posted the following message to Facebook:
**Trooper Critically Injured – Prayers Needed**
The entire LSP family is requesting your thoughts and prayers following the shooting of a Louisiana State Police Trooper in the Lake Charles area.
The incident occurred as the Trooper conducted a traffic stop on a suspected impaired driver and was shot during the course of the interaction. The suspect was subsequently detained by passing motorists as additional citizens rendered aid to the Trooper until assistance arrived on the scene.
Further information and the Trooper’s identity and status will be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
Please take a moment from your Sunday afternoon to send prayers and well wishes to the Trooper and his family in this critical time.
Thank you and God Bless,

A creepy puppet said to have choked its former owner has been filmed moving inside a sealed glass container in the dead of night.
Paranormal Investigator Jayne Harris, 32, from Stourbridge, West Midlands, recorded the puppet every night for three months – after its previous owner claimed it tried to choke him to death.
And last month she was left dumbfounded, when her cameras caught the chilling moment the wooden doll appears to come to life.
‘For us there is no point in faking your own evidence as it’s only tricking yourself – this footage is real.
‘Now we’re going to keep filming with motion sensors as this is just one video and we want to build a bigger picture currently we don’t know the name or anything else about the spirit.
‘Our ultimate goal is to find out as much as we can about the spirit and then try to understand why he is still here.’
Trained psychologist Jayne – who has been investigating spiritual attachment to haunted puppets for 17-years – took the old man puppet in November last year after its former owner claimed to have been choked by a spirit connected to the children’s toy and also experiencing haunting nightmares.
